Recent 2:1 History Graduate from Bristol University - English tutor with Matthew

I have played cricket with Matthew for around 10 years, he is 2 years older than me but I have got to know him very well over this period of time. He is a very likeable and sociable character and it is enjoyable playing cricket with him. When I was doing my A Level History revision he volunteered to help me out. In particular, I struggled with my Russia module and I knew he had achieved high marks in his history A Level exam so I asked him to help. He was more than willing to spare his time despite the fact he had his own work to complete at university. He helped me to understand the structuring of my essay responses as well as helping me devise arguments and essay plans. His help proved invaluable and he guided me to a strong mark in an area I was previously struggling in.

I have know Matthew for around 8 years now through playing cricket with him and have got to know him very well. Within this time I have seen him working as a cricket coach for around the past 7 years and have worked with him within this role. He has always shown great leadership abilities, is exceptionally personable and has been a pleasure to work with. He definitely possesses the interpersonal and teaching skills required for a career in tutoring. Furthermore, for the past 2 years he has helped tutor my son in English and general writing skills. He has displayed motivational skills and patience and my son has developed his English skills significantly under his tutelage.

I could not recommend him highly enough and anyone in need of a tutor should be exceedingly satisfied with Matthew’s tutoring.
