About Zak
I am a young, recent graduate of The Ohio State University where I received my Master's degree for Materials Science and Engineering. I had previously gotten my Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics from Ohio University, graduating at the very top of my class. I have always been a very social person, so not your typical academic!

I truly believe the best way to teach something (especially notoriously "rigorous" subjects) is by getting on the students' level. In particular, communicating in a way that is relatable, rather than more "administrative", always results in a better outcome. These lessons are for anyone who wants to improve in the areas of math and science.

Perfect! Extensive knowledge and great at working through problems and truly helping you understand!
Perfect! Zak does an excellent job of breaking Calculus concepts down into more manageable pieces. For many of us, myself included, differentiation and integration rules were topics hammered into our heads by rote memorization; Zak has enabled me to think outside the box and understand Calculus at a deeper level where memorizing tables of methods isn't really necessary anymore.
Working with Zak has greatly improved my confidence, and I am now much better equipped to handle more complex math courses in the future.Perfect! My daughter felt that she actually learned the "why" behind the method. Thank you!
Perfect! Zak is a great tutor and explains everything step by step. He likes to show you the behind the scenes of a problem instead of jumping in to the solution. He makes sure I understand the concepts and explains anything I ask. Definitely recommend him as a tutor! Btw: He is teaching me Calc 1. (Just for reference)
Perfect! Zak was patient, thorough, and understanding. I will use him again
Perfect! Explaining the “Why?”s

Zak is the perfect teacher for students of all levels!! His deep knowledge of music production allows him to break down intricate topics into understandable concepts. He's set you up with everything you need to succeed (most of which you didn't realize!). 10/10 would recommend.
I have worked with Zak for many years. His knowledge in the production field never ceases to amaze me. He is constantly seeking out new techniques/methods of production and is always willing to take the time to teach and explain until the concept is completely grasped. He is a real class-act!
Zak is so patient and really took the time to walk through everything with me. He wouldn’t get frustrated when I could not pick up something as fast, and honestly he makes you really excited about what you’re doing. Couldn’t recommend him enough.
Zak is the best teacher! He is patient and extremely thorough in his explanations during his lessons. He makes the process of learning music production really enjoyable and fun. Highly recommend booking Zak as your tutor!
Zak is an excellent teacher. He has been super thoughtful about my current skills and the goals I have while working together. I definitely recommend him as a teacher!
