About Alexa
I am a pre-med student with a degree Medicine, Health and Society (and minors in Spanish and Latino studies). I have experience teaching English through Breakthrough Miami and tutoring in my high school's Writing Center. I was successful on the ACT and SAT, largely due to the fact that I enjoy teaching and learning about reading, writing and grammar, and I hope I can help you or your student succeed as well!

I base my classes on each students' individual needs. If specific areas of concern are pointed out to me, I will happily create study plans specific to that student's needs. I also enjoy editing. Therefore, if a student needs essay help, I will edit their essays for grammar and spelling errors and go through it with them piece by piece to explain my corrections.
