About Sofia
I started learning Spanish in high school when I was 14 years old. I fell in love with the language and all aspects of the Latino culture, which inspired me to get my degree in Spanish Liberal Arts. I studied abroad in Valparaiso, Chile, and feel grateful to have a large community of Spanish speakers in my life. I am moving to Spain in September 2022 to teach classes in English and keep improving my Spanish-speaking abilities.

Spanish is my second language and is something I am very passionate about. I have traveled and spent time in Belize, Mexico, and Chile to learn more about the cultures, accents, and life in Latin America. I vow to make your tutoring experiences worth your time and do all that I can to make you feel more confident in your abilities to master the language.
I will be tutoring one-on-one individual Spanish lessons.
In all of our sessions, your learning needs will be the main priority. To start, our first session will be about getting to know you and what specific skills, challenges, and topics you would like to improve on. Based on this conversation, we will collaborate together to make a lesson plan tailored to your specific needs as well as schedule the frequency of our virtual meetings.
*Based on your comfortability and proficiency level, the tutoring sessions can be instructed in English as well as Spanish.
