My approach as a tutor centers on making Social Studies engaging, relatable, and student-driven. I use a mix of guided discussion, real-world examples, and active questioning to encourage critical thinking and connection to the material. A typical lesson begins with a quick review, followed by interactive instruction tailored to the student’s current curriculum or goals—whether it’s improving essay writing, preparing for an AP exam, or understanding complex historical concepts. What sets me apart is that, as a recent graduate, I’m close in age to my students, which helps me communicate in a way they connect with. My lessons are ideal for middle school, high school, and early college students looking for a supportive, clear, and culturally informed approach to Social Studies.
