About Jess
I am a recent Biology graduate from Newcastle University and studied Biology, Chemistry and French at A Level. I have also completed a placement year as part of my degree which has given me enhanced practical knowledge of biology applied in industry. With my previous tutoring experience in sciences and maths (2 years), teaching sports and having been taught in an academic setting in diverse ways, I am very versatile and able to adapt my teaching style to the needs of each student so that you can effectively reach your goals. Using this approach to teaching, I am looking to help every student to achieve their best.
My available hours are flexible, and I tutor A Level Biology, GCSE Biology, GCSE Chemistry and GCSE maths. I can also provide support for extended projects at A Level (in biology/ chemistry) areas.

I tailor my teaching methodology to suit each individual student, to ensure that my students get as much as possible from our sessions. I strive to ensure that my lessons are tailored to the individual learning needs of each student by first discussing with them what they would like to gain from tutoring, making a plan and then working on that plan to help them achieve their goals.
