About Ke Xuan
Hi, I am a current law undergraduate student with a strong academic background in English Literature and History. My studies have given me a deep appreciation for critical thinking, clear communication, and structured argumentation — all of which I bring into my tutoring. Before studying law, I achieved top grades in both English Literature and History at sixth forms (A*), and I’ve continued to apply those skills at university through essay-based coursework, legal writing, and independent research. I genuinely enjoy helping students break down complex material, develop their ideas, and gain confidence in their written work. Tutoring is something I find incredibly rewarding. I take a calm, supportive, and tailored approach, working with each student to help them grow both academically and personally.

In each lesson, I begin by reviewing the student’s curriculum and identifying their specific goals. From there, I create a tailored tutoring plan that targets key content areas and skill development. I often provide my own personal notes, designed to break down complex ideas and support independent revision. A core focus of my teaching is helping students think and write critically — whether it's analysing a literary text or constructing a strong historical argument. I guide students through how to approach questions effectively, structure their responses, and meet the assessment objectives. I also share example essays that demonstrate the standards required for top marks, so students can see exactly what strong work looks like in practice. My aim is to make each session clear, focused, and confidence-building — with practical tools students can apply in their own studies.
