My name’s Jack and I’m currently a second year mechanical engineering student at Exeter University. I’m looking to expand my overall skill set and I believe that tutoring is a fantastic skill to have, as it encourages critical thinking and is an incredibly rewarding and fulfilling job!

The general structure of the lessons would be to start with any necessary notes and theory relating to the topic, before tackling some questions, starting easy and increasing in difficulty as the students knowledge and confidence increases. Ideally, the lessons would be 30-60 minutes long, depending on how the student progresses. I would be looking to tutor children up to and including GCSE level in all topics of maths and further maths. Having studied both of these subjects at A-level (achieving A* and A), I have more than enough knowledge to explain any and all topics in a variety of ways to ensure the student has the best understanding possible as they go into exam season!
