About Mark
I have a masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Colorado and have over 20 years of programming experience in the workplace. I have taught both classroom and online courses at a major university that caters to working adults. That experience taught me that the classic classroom experience is no longer valid. To learn computer skills effectively, the course material must be non-threatening, relevant, and fun.

Everyone has a different way of learning. That's why the traditional classroom is ineffective for many students. I take the time to discover how you learn and customize the course material to best suit your learning style. Do you look forward to assignments in class? If you don't, then something is wrong. Many computer courses are abstract; they just don't seem to apply to what you need to know today. I believe that the fastest way to learn a new topic is to make it immediately useful to you. If you are taking a computer course in college and you're falling behind - I can help. Chances are, you are not engaged - you hate the material and have no use for it. You're taking the course because it's required. Let's save you from having to drop and take it again. I can help you turn the class around and actually look forward to it.
