About Susana
I have been teaching for more than 20 years. My background is initiated and driven by the Montessori Method. I also include the Reggio Emilia Philosophy, Creative Curriculum and I’m a member of the Marco Polo learning educator app, also being a Class Dojo Mentor for my schooI lets me be exposed and connected to other educators. I attain a Child Development Associates Degree, With more than 150 hours of Childcare Training in the state of Florida. I’m passionate about reading and teaching it’s the most rewarding job I can ever have. My Expertise is Early Childhood Education from PRE-Kindergarten thru 5th Grade.
Looking forward to meeting my future students! Times and dates are flexible. I also offer guidance with homework in addition to my tutoring with personalized lessons. Progress reports and parent conferences are available to help achieve each students goals. Thank you!

My approach is the Montessori Method an Italian education introduced by Dr. Maria Montessori. Truly an asset to accelerating reading. I present each phonic sound to match letters and objects with Sensorial activities as well. When the Phonics Awareness has been mastered, we’ll begin Presenting word Families ie. “at” , “et”, “it”, etc. . When word families have been mastered we begin sight word introduction with CVC words practice for future sentence reading and making. I will implement all phonics reading elements to a successful reading program with 2 book series to practice. BECOME A READER WITH ME.
