About Charlotte
Hi! I’m passionate about reading and helping others build confidence with books and written texts. I believe reading is one of the most important skills because it opens the door to learning, creativity, and imagination.
I’m patient, supportive, and enjoy helping students improve their reading ability step by step. My goal is to create a relaxed and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable practising and developing their skills.

My lessons are designed to help students improve reading skills, comprehension, and confidence. Each session is personalised to your level and goals, whether you’re just starting out or want to read more advanced texts.
We focus on:
• Understanding texts – breaking down words, sentences, and meaning
• Building vocabulary – learning new words in context
• Reading confidence – strategies to read smoothly and enjoyably
• Critical thinking – discussing ideas, themes, and stories
Lessons are interactive and engaging, with exercises, discussions, and optional reading assignments to practise between sessions. I aim to make reading fun, rewarding, and something you look forward to.
All lessons are online via Zoom or Google Meet, at flexible times to fit your schedule. I welcome students of all ages who want to read better, understand more, and enjoy books.
