About Chelsea
I have been teaching, counseling and providing a creative safe place for children to grow my entire adult life. I have earned my Bachelors degree in Community and Human Services. My goal is to continue with college and earn my Masters. I am empathetic, cautious, well-mannered, well-spoken, honest, encouraging, positive, and fun. I believe in working hard and striving to make a positive impact on the children I am given the responsibility of caring for. I am always available and reliable. I will make you into a reader in no time! I have the required books starting at level A-J. We will learn the alphabet and the sounds each letter makes. We will also learn fun tricks for tricky words. We will have the best time reading and comprehending the stories we dive into.
I have the tools to help you read, we just have to do the work! There will be times we are both laughing and there will be times we need to buckle down because reading is not easy. One if the hardest things you’ll ever do in your life is learn how to read but once you get it you’ll be reading everything from road signs to the back if your cereal box. You will feel so proud and accomplished to become a reader and your family and I will be thrilled to see your transformation.
