About Luanne
I have homeschooled 3 of my children off and on since 2001 and presently. I have tutored 5th through 9th grade in Algebra, Trigonometry, and Reading. My favorite time spent teaching was a high school mixed level classroom of students with learning disabilities and behavioral struggles. These students went from refusing to do assignments to helping each other and participating in class. Some days i had to teach the same lesson 2 or 3 different ways so everyone got instruction at a level which they could process the material.

I have homeschooled my own children that have various educational challenges due to anxiety, autism, and ADHD. I went back to college late in life to get my bachelors degree in Exceptional Student Education to better help my more students. I am experienced in changing methods midstream during a lesson if the student is having trouble grasping the idea. I get excited about almost any topic and share that enthusiasm with my students.
