About Alexandra
Hi! I’m a Biomedical Science graduate from QUT with majors in Anatomy and Biochemistry, and I’m currently completing my Honors year at UQ.
Tutoring was an important part of my own high school journey, and I know firsthand how much having the right support can improve both your understanding and confidence. This is a big part of why I enjoy tutoring I want to provide students with the same encouragement and support that helped me get through high school.
My approach is friendly, patient and personalized. I adapt lessons to each student’s learning style, strengths and goals, whether they need help understanding a challenging topic, preparing for an assessment or developing a study plan. My goal is to make students feel comfortable asking questions, build their confidence and help them become more independent learners.

My teaching approach is personalized, supportive and focused on building confidence. I break down challenging concepts into clear, manageable steps using worked examples, visual explanations and practice questions. I tailor lessons to each student’s learning style, ability and goals, and can create personalized study plans to help students stay organized and prepare effectively for assessments.
I also provide feedback on assignments and assessments, helping students identify areas for improvement and develop stronger study and exam techniques.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, with flexibility depending on the student’s needs.
I am a QUT Biomedical Science graduate with majors in Anatomy and Biochemistry and am currently completing my Honors year at UQ. I tutor Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and English for primary and high school students.
