About Georgina
Hi and welcome to the mat! I'm Georgina, a qualified Kundalini Yoga teacher who has taught a range of classes from online and in-person and from one to one tuition to festivals.
I discovered yoga when I was 16 looking for a way to heal and manage my scoliosis, that was in 2003. Since then I have been on a journey through many different styles of yoga before finally discovering Kundalini Yoga in around 2016.
This changed my practice and informs how I teach. My teaching style is based around awareness; awareness of how the body talks to you in each posture so we can more deeply understand where we need to unlock ourselves, awareness of how the breath moves in and out of the body and how we can use our breath to transform our minds, and awareness of the chatter of the mind as we challenge ourselves and our limitations.
I believe that by strengthening our awareness of these things on the mat we are better able to understand ourselves and therefore improving our lives off the mat

My classes are focused around feeling calm, elevated and strengthening the Nervous System so we are mentally, energetically and emotionally better able to respond to stress.
Each class is 60 minutes and will include a range of practices including breathwork, physical postures, meditation and a deep relaxation.
Each student is different so I teach a variety of styles to choose from depending on what you are hoping to achieve.
After a brief consultation where we discuss what you are hoping to achieve and any areas you would like to focus on (such as meditation or breathwork, chakras or areas of the body) there is a 30 minute free class in order to decide if you would like to practice together again in the future.
If you would like regular classes I am happy to travel to you for a small additional fee.
200 Hour Yoga Alliance Professional
I have taught in person and online classes since 2019 and my personal practice began when I was 16 years old.
My classes are suited to all abilities and anyone over the age of 12 (although this is not a children's yoga class).
