About Kay
23 years of teaching French to all age levels - from pre-school through to GCSE and lessons for adult learners too. I have a wealth of experience and resources to prepare pupils for French GCSE.
9 years of primary teaching experience. I can offer English/Maths tuition at primary level, including preparation for SATS and 11+ entrance exams.
My passion for helping all children led me to qualify as a specialist teacher for learners with Dyslexia/Specifid Learning Difficulties. I can offer bespoke intervention and support, based upon your child's individual learning needs.

I enjoy inspiring learners by making lessons fun and enjoyable. I particularly enjoy making lessons varied and interactive. Each lesson is tailored to an individual pupil's needs and I aim for the lessons to be relaxed, yet purposeful, going at a suitable pace for the learner to ensure progress. I will find a way to suit your preferred learning style to help you to master new skills and to retain knowledge. I find 1:1 teaching very rewarding as tailored tuition can enable a learner to make faster progress.

Details
£35 per hour is my standard hourly rate for 1:1 tuition for French (any level up to GCSE and also for primary Maths and English tuition) either at my home in Chelmsford, Essex or online.
I can provide discounts for block bookings and for lessons lasting longer than 1 hour. I will also consider teaching groups of up to 3 pupils together (if at a similar level) - please contact me to discuss.
