About Shakira
I have several years of teaching experience and have taught in a variety of schools, working with students of different abilities and learning needs. I hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and completed my teacher training at Newman University, where I developed a strong foundation in effective teaching strategies and curriculum planning. I specialise in GCSE Maths and English, as well as SATs preparation, and I am confident in supporting students to build subject knowledge, exam technique, and confidence. My teaching approach is structured, supportive, and tailored to each learner, using clear explanations, targeted practice, and regular feedback to ensure consistent progress.
