About Bethany
Hi, I'm Bethany Land I have a BA (Hons) in Education with Qualified Teacher Status and have spent the last five years teaching KS1, KS2, KS3, SEND & Functional Skills.
I am passionate about reading, particularly classic literature, English history, nature and archaeology.
I also enjoy spending time outdoors through hiking, swimming, and visiting historical places of interest such as national trust sites.
I love travelling and discovering new places and cultures.

Using a wide range of high-quality teaching resources and evidence-based strategies, I create personalised learning programmes that build on prior knowledge and develop confidence. Ongoing assessment is embedded throughout every session, allowing me to monitor understanding, identify misconceptions and adapt my teaching to maximise progress. I also track each learner's development over time, ensuring lessons remain focused on their individual targets and long-term goals.
My lessons provide a calm, supportive and engaging learning environment where pupils feel confident to ask questions, make mistakes and develop a secure understanding of key concepts. Each session includes clear explanations, modelled examples, guided practice, independent application and constructive feedback, helping learners make consistent, measurable progress while fostering independence and a genuine enjoyment of learning.
