I tutor small groups of up to 3 students at my home in Northmead Benoni. The groups are grade/age-specific. Group work encourages children to expand their perspectives on the world and understand that they are not alone in facing their problems. It also increases the opportunities for all learners to speak Afrikaans and allows them to learn from each other. Above all else, group work is fun! Having fun while learning helps students retain information better because the process is enjoyable and memorable.
During lessons, the learners play educational games to enforce learning, watch educational videos, complete past exam papers, practice writing essays and speeches, etc.
Online classes are also available from Grade 8 to Matric.

My child is in grade 6 and she really battles with Afrikaans. I took her for extra Afrikaans lessons last year but her grades still suffered. Natasha is a lovely Afrikaans tutor. She is fluent in both English and Afrikaans and does a great job at explaining anything I don’t understand. Afrikaans is by far my weakest subject, but with her help my Afrikaans, especially my comprehension skills, have improved massively and my marks are the highest they’ve ever been for this subject. She somehow always manages to make lessons enjoyable and fun even though we’re doing serious work. I highly recommend Natasha for tutoring.
