Hi! I’m Thea, a passionate tutor specialising in GCSE Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) and Maths. I love helping students understand tricky concepts, build confidence, and achieve their best grades. With over 10 years of teaching, examining and tutoring experience, I focus on making lessons clear, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs. Whether it’s exam preparation, homework support, or boosting understanding of difficult topics, my aim is to make learning engaging and effective. I believe every student can succeed with the right guidance and a bit of patience. My lessons are friendly, interactive, and adapted to your pace, no question is ever too small! As a qualified teacher and examiner I bring a strong focus on exam technique and essential knowledge to my students. This includes a mixture of subject content, examination technique, test papers and study skills. I hold a PGCE in secondary education and have taught, tutored and examined for over 10 years. I provide tutoring sessions of one hour aimed at students aged 11-16 in GCSE mathematics, biology, chemistry and physics.
