My first experience of Alison was via YouTube during the 2020 covid lockdown. I had made the decision to use the time to learn how to paint with watercolour. And I found someone who (5 years later) I now know to be one of the best watercolour teachers. I completed a number of courses with her online, and with personal emails at the time, I came to know Alison as a warm and nurturing teacher, who wanted the best for each of her students. She was very encouraging, full of enthusiasm for the subject, and able to try different approaches to watercolour and techniques, to keep it fresh and interesting as well as informative and fun. I am more than happy to recommend Alison as a teacher!
