About Eric
I am an enthusiastic Spanish tutor with 12 years of experience helping high school and college students achieve success in learning a new language. I have successfully guided around 150 students through personalized lessons that focus on building confidence and improving communication skills. My teaching philosophy is based on making learning simple, practical, and enjoyable.
Every lesson includes grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and speaking activities. I use interactive discussions, practical conversations, revision exercises, and cultural topics to create an engaging learning experience. Students receive continuous encouragement and feedback so they remain motivated throughout their learning journey.
One of the most rewarding parts of my career has been watching students become confident Spanish speakers and improve their academic performance. Many learners have developed stronger communication skills and a genuine interest in learning the language.

My teaching approach is based on creativity, critical thinking, mentoring, and accountability because I believe these values help students achieve meaningful success in Spanish. I focus on making every lesson engaging, practical, and personalized so students enjoy learning while building strong communication skills.
Lessons are carefully planned according to each student's learning style and future goals. I use conversations, storytelling, pronunciation practice, role plays, language games, authentic videos, reading exercises, listening activities, and writing tasks to improve every language skill together.
Critical thinking is encouraged by helping students identify grammar patterns, understand vocabulary in context, and solve communication challenges independently. Students gradually become confident learners who understand the language instead of relying only on memorization.
As a mentor, I support students with patience, encouragement, and personalized guidance. I motivate learners to stay consistent, ask questions, and believe in their ability to improve through regular practice.
Accountability is an essential part of my teaching. I establish clear objectives, review progress frequently, assign meaningful practice activities, and provide detailed feedback that helps students continue improving.
Besides Spanish, I teach grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary development, conversation practice, reading comprehension, writing skills, listening practice, beginner Spanish, DELE preparation, travel Spanish, and Hispanic culture. My goal is to create confident Spanish speakers who can communicate naturally in both academic and everyday situations.
