About Thabile
Hello, my name is Thabile, and I am a passionate and dedicated South African Sign Language teacher with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. I have experience teaching Deaf learners and supporting students in developing strong communication skills through SASL. My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and highly visual, helping students feel comfortable while learning a new language.
I believe that learning South African Sign Language should be engaging, practical, and meaningful. In my lessons, I focus on building vocabulary, correct handshapes, facial expressions, and real-life conversation skills. I also introduce students to aspects of Deaf culture, which is an important part of understanding the language.
I am committed to creating a positive and respectful learning environment where students can grow in confidence and develop their signing abilities at their own pace. Whether you are a beginner or someone who wants to improve your skills, my goal is to guide and support you in becoming a confident signer.

I offer engaging and supportive South African Sign Language lessons designed to help students communicate confidently. As a qualified teacher with a PGCE and experience teaching Deaf learners, I use visual demonstrations, practice activities, and conversation exercises. I teach in SASL and English, making lessons accessible for beginners and intermediate learners who want to develop strong signing skills and understanding of Deaf culture.
