About Kurt
My lessons are calm, flexible and fully adapted to the individual learner. I use a person-centred approach, adjusting pace, communication and teaching methods to suit SEND needs.
Sessions are usually around 60 minutes. I am a qualified secondary English teacher with QTS, a degree in English and Linguistics, and specialist experience working with Severe Learning Difficulties, SEMH and complex SEND.
Lessons are suitable for children and young people who need extra support with English, literacy, functional skills, confidence or engagement with education.
