About Chiara
I am an Italian native speaker who moved to the UK several years ago and built a career in education. Working as a Specialist Teaching Assistant has given me the opportunity to support children and young people with a wide range of needs, abilities and personalities.
I am passionate about education, wellbeing and helping people build confidence in themselves. I believe learning should be enjoyable, supportive and adapted to the individual rather than expecting everyone to learn in the same way.
Alongside my work in education, I have completed specialist training in Special Educational Needs, Mental Health Support and Child Development. I am currently continuing my professional development to further expand my knowledge and skills.
Outside of work, I enjoy art, creativity and spending time with my family. These interests help me bring patience, creativity and positivity into my teaching and support sessions.
My goal is to help every learner feel comfortable, valued and capable of achieving their full potential.

I have extensive experience supporting children and young people, including pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Autism, ADHD, anxiety and social-emotional difficulties. I have completed specialist qualifications in SEN, Mental Health Support, Positive Behaviour Support, Anti-Bullying and Child Development, and I am currently continuing my professional development within education.
My lessons are friendly, patient and tailored to each learner's individual needs. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit the learner's age, confidence level, learning style and personal goals.
I offer Italian lessons for children, teenagers and adults, from complete beginners to those looking to improve their conversation skills. Lessons can focus on speaking, listening, reading, writing, pronunciation, vocabulary or school support, depending on the student's needs.
For younger learners and students with SEN, I use engaging activities, visual resources, games and practical learning approaches to build confidence and encourage progress in a supportive environment.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although shorter sessions can be arranged for younger children if appropriate.
My goal is to create a positive, encouraging and enjoyable learning experience where students feel comfortable, supported and motivated to succeed.

Details
Lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style. I offer support for children, teenagers and adults, including beginners, GCSE students and learners who would like to improve their confidence in speaking Italian. As a Specialist Teaching Assistant with experience supporting students with Autism, ADHD, anxiety and additional learning needs, I provide a patient, supportive and personalised approach to learning. Online lessons are available, and face-to-face lessons can be arranged within the Liverpool area. The first lesson is offered free of charge to discuss learning goals, assess current ability and create a personalised learning plan.
