About Henry
Hi I'm Henry. As a trained secondary science teacher with experience as both a teaching assistant and tutor, I’m passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals.
I believe that every student can succeed with the right guidance and support. My approach is to create a positive and encouraging learning environment, where students feel confident to ask questions and engage with the material.
I tailor my lessons to each student's needs, ensuring they gain a solid understanding of key concepts while building the skills they need to tackle challenging topics.
Whether you're preparing for exams or need help with day-to-day classwork, my goal is to provide reliable, focused support to help you feel more confident and capable as you work toward your academic success.

Every student is different and every lesson should be as well.
I will work with you to identify the key areas/topics that will have the biggest impact on your success in each subject. We will then approach that topic in ways that engage you in the learning process, with an emphasis on practice questions and discussion.
We will use exam board specifications and past paper questions to ensure that you develop your understanding, confidence and are fully prepared to apply your knowledge.
Each lesson will be one hour long, as this gives sufficient time to cover the theoretical knowledge, discuss your questions and thoughts, and then put it into practice!
As a trained science teacher with a maths A-level I can support any students who want help with science up to GCSE level, and/or maths up to KS3.
