About Lucy
I am a qualified English teacher and am looking to offer tutoring sessions for any KS3 or KS4 students wanting extra support with English language or literature, up to GCSE level. For Literature I have lots of experience teaching An Inspector Calls, Frankenstein, Romeo and Juliet and Power and Conflict poetry at GCSE level however, I may be able to support with some other texts, just ask. I have experience teaching the AQA spec; again, I am more than happy to support with other exam boards. I also have experience teaching older students who are resitting GCSE English Language, with success!
CURRENTLY ON MATERNITY LEAVE. ACCEPTING STUDENTS FROM SEPTEMBER 2025.

I am experienced and comfortable with teaching all ages from Year 7 up to Year 11. I will ensure that all sessions are well suited to the ability levels and ages of the tutee. My 7 years of teaching experience have given me the opportunity to work with a range of students who I have helped to meet and exceed targets. I also mark English Language GCSE for a major exam board.
