Hi, I’m Shauna—a qualified teacher with over 7 years’ experience helping students succeed in Math, Science, and Biology for Junior and Leaving Cert. I hold a Master’s in Education and postgraduate qualifications in Assistive Technology and 21st Century Teaching, which means I bring real-life project work and modern tools into every lesson with support for students with additional needs. My approach is student-centered—I tailor each session to your pace, learning style, and goals. As a qualified Post-Primary Teacher with over 7 years of classroom experience, I offer tailored grinds in Math, Science, and Biology for both Junior Cert and Leaving Cert students. My aim is to build confidence, deepen understanding, and help students reach their full academic potential. I hold a BSc with Education, a Master's in Education, along with postgraduate qualifications in Assistive Technology and 21st Century Teaching and Learning, which focus on integrating real-life project work into Math. With a background in Special Educational Needs, I take a student-centered approach, adapting each lesson to suit the learner’s pace, style, and goals. I have a proven track record of helping students improve their grades and develop lasting confidence in their subjects. Each lesson is structured to include clear explanations, worked examples, and exam-focused practice. I regularly incorporate past paper questions, marking schemes, and study strategies to ensure students are well-prepared for exams. Above all, I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes—because that’s how real learning happens.
