About Maisie
I am a fun loving and creative teacher who takes great care in making and delivering lessons that will be memorable, enjoyable and useful for all students. I stepped straight into teaching after completing my First Class Degree in Sociology and have confirmed my passion for helping and guiding our future generation towards their goals and passions during my teacher training year. Sociology itself and teaching Sociology has opened my eyes up to the world we are in and has awarded me with so many opportunities to encourage change, become educated about society and work towards my future career in helping others and I would love to share and encourage this same experience with future students.

I ensure that all lessons will be fun and interactive with plenty of activities and advice on how to revise and ace exams.
My teaching will have a combination of research activities, written work/exam practice in addition to set tasks that may range from watching clips, listening to podcasts, creating revision materials to participating in revision and learning games.
A lesson will range from 30-60 minutes and can be aimed at GCSE or A Level Students in the UK.
I will tailor my lessons to my student’s needs and focus on topics that they want to have more practice with. I will also advise students with exam tips and ways to revise in addition to marking any exam practice they may have completed.
I have completed a year in teacher training in the UK teaching mainly Sociology A Level but have also taught GCSE and a variety of other subjects at these levels too.
