About Darragh
I'm a qualified secondary school teacher currently teaching in Dublin, with experience teaching both in Ireland and internationally in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
I'm passionate about education and particularly enjoy helping students develop confidence in subjects they may initially find challenging.
Having taught students from different backgrounds and abilities, I understand that everyone learns differently. I aim to create a relaxed, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing their understanding.
I enjoy breaking down difficult concepts into manageable steps and helping students achieve those moments when something finally clicks.
Whether a student is aiming for a top grade or simply hoping to improve their confidence and understanding, my goal is to help them make meaningful progress.

I'm a qualified secondary school teacher offering personalised grinds in Leaving Cert Physics, IGCSE Physics, Junior Cycle Maths and Junior Cycle Science.
My lessons are structured around clear learning intentions and success criteria, so students know exactly what they're working towards.
I usually begin by identifying what a student already understands and where the gaps are. We then work through these areas using clear explanations, worked examples and guided practice, before focusing on exam-style questions to build confidence and improve exam technique.
I aim to make lessons engaging, supportive and focused on genuine understanding rather than memorising answers.
**Lessons are available online in 60-minute or 90-minute sessions**, depending on your preference. The longer sessions are particularly useful for exam prep, tackling challenging topics or working through past exam papers.
All lessons are tailored to the individual student's level, pace and goals.

In-person lessons are subject to location and availability. Additional travel costs may apply for longer journeys.
**First lesson**
I like to make sure students are happy and comfortable with my teaching approach before committing to regular grinds.
After the first lesson, I encourage parents to speak with their son or daughter to see how they found it. If they're happy and would like to continue, the first lesson is charged at the normal rate. If they feel it's not the right fit, there's no charge and absolutely no obligation to continue.
**Lesson duration**
Both 60-minute and 90-minute sessions are available. Longer sessions can be particularly useful for exam prep, revising challenging topics and working through past exam questions.
