About Jacob
Hi there! My name is Jacob and I’m passionate about helping students unlock their potential and achieve their academic goals. I am currently a qualified Secondary HPE teacher/Sport Coordinator with nearly 2 years of full - time experience. My lessons are designed for a diverse range of students, however they are predominately specialised for high school students Year 7-12 (including junior HPE, Senior ATAR Physical education and junior Science). My aim is to provide support and enrichment tailored to each individual's needs, regardless of their current level or background.
My hobbies entail going to gym, getting down to the beach and playing a a variety of sports including tennis and touch football. I also run a tennis coaching business as well as working as a full time teacher!

I tailor lessons to meet the individual needs of each student. This involves assessing their current level, understanding their learning style, and setting specific goals. I use a variety of methods to keep lessons engaging, such as incorporating multimedia resources, interactive exercises, and real-world examples. This helps make abstract concepts more concrete and relatable. I work with students to set achievable goals and regularly review their progress. This helps them stay motivated and allows us to adjust the approach as needed.
Lessons typically last an hour. This duration is usually sufficient to cover a specific topic or concept while maintaining focus and preventing fatigue. However, the length can be adjusted based on the student's needs and preferences.
