About Rebecca
Hello! I am a scientist from Ireland offering one-on-one tailored classes in biology for GCSE, A-levels, junior certificate, leaving certificate and undergraduate college students of all levels.
I gained my primary Genetics BSc degree from University College Dublin, Ireland where my studies included genetics, microbiology (bacterial), cardiovascular biology, physiology, neuroscience and cellular biology. I was a cardiovascular genetics researcher at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland for 4 years where I gained my PhD in 2019. My PhD research involved investigating the genetic mechanisms behind bacterial infection of the cardiovascular system.
I have 4 years of experience teaching students in the following areas;

- Cardiovascular and genetic disease.

I will then build a lesson plan based upon your needs, ensuring to adapt classes to your background level.
I aim to teach with a positive, understanding approach, working with the student to figure out areas for improvement. In doing so, I work to establish a supportive learning environment.
