My son is currently taking his GCSEs, and I have worked with him on the content of this reference; we both want to start by saying that we cannot recommend Sharon more highly as a science tutor.

As a parent, Sharon is extremely easy to work with – our communications, whether in writing or talking, are very clear and professional but importantly also very reassuring, as you instantly feel you’re in safe and experienced hands.

Sharon was able to quickly assess my son’s gaps in learning and form a plan to cover all three science subjects. Since he has been working with Sharon, I have seen my son’s confidence grow significantly. He looks forward to the lessons (even opting to have additional ones) as he values Sharon’s extensive subject knowledge and ability to be able to explain complicated topics and concepts clearly and patiently, but also repeatedly until he feels he has a full grasp. What I value is that throughout the lessons she ensures he communicates with her, answering questions, explaining his reasoning etc. in order to constantly check his understanding rather than 'taking his word for it' before moving on.

Without Sharon’s teaching and also her practical exam guidance he would not be entering his science GCSEs with his current level of confidence. We were incredibly lucky to find Sharon as it is rare to find a tutor with Sharon’s subject knowledge and level of teaching experience.
