About Sara
I am a qualified Science teacher with 11 years of experience teaching Grades 2–6. I hold a Science degree from NUI Galway, Ireland, a Master’s in Medical Microbiology from London, a Diploma in Teaching from Abu Dhabi University, and a PGCE with QTS from the University of Sunderland.
I have extensive teaching experience in the Gulf and bring a warm, energetic and encouraging approach to my lessons. I genuinely enjoy Science and love turning difficult ideas into something children can understand, relate to and even get excited about.
I’m patient, approachable and naturally curious, and I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and thinking for themselves. I enjoy using real-life examples, discussion and a little humor to keep lessons engaging without losing focus.
For me, the best part of teaching is seeing that moment when a student suddenly says, “Oh, I get it now!” My aim is to help every student become more confident, curious and independent while making Science feel interesting and achievable.

My lessons are clear, engaging and tailored to each student’s individual needs and ability level. I use visuals, real-life examples, questioning and interactive activities to make Science easier to understand and remember. I focus on developing true understanding rather than memorizing facts, while building confidence in scientific vocabulary, reasoning and problem-solving. Lessons are carefully structured with regular checks for understanding, targeted support where needed and additional challenge for students who are ready to go further. My aim is for students to enjoy Science, feel confident and make measurable progress.
