About Fatima
I am a young and hard-working individual. My passion for teaching began at a young age and I look forward to helping youngsters achieve their full potential on a daily basis. I began tutoring in 2016, after completing my bachelors degree in chemical engineering, which incorporated a lot of chemistry, physics and mathematics. I tutor both KS3 students as well as GCSE, preparing students for their upcoming exams.
I am currently a classroom teacher, specialising in all three sciences - chemistry, biology and physics. I have taught a variety of students, ranging from low to high ability, always pushing the students to go above and beyond their predicted and target grades. I am highly committed to helping my students every step of the way and I believe my positive and enthusiastic personality helps to portray that in my teaching.
Experience:
Currently a classroom teacher with over 4 years of experience.
Private tutoring over 5 years.
Helping students in chemistry, biology, physics and mathematics.
I am a very motivated individual. My teaching approach is very direct, while also aiming to instil a love of science and mathematics-based subjects into my students. I like to relate lessons from the science curriculum into everyday life in order for my students to understand their learning and engage with the content.
I believe practice makes perfect and therefore I am intent on giving many worked examples to students, which they can work through to help them answer exam-style questions. I also believe exam practice is crucial, especially when it comes to GCSE level. I expect my students to be highly motivated as well as dedicated to improving their knowledge and taking an independent approach to their learning.

I have worked with Fatima for a number of years and I can honestly say that she is hands down, one of the best teacher/tutor I have come across. She caters to the needs of every learner and is able to break down complex information in a way that makes it easier for her students to understand.
