About Bassant
Hello! My name is Bassant, and I am a qualified Science and Health Science teacher based in Al Ain, UAE.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, graduating with Distinction and Honors, and a General Diploma in Education with an Excellent grade.
I have over two years of teaching experience in UAE schools, teaching Science and Health Science, including Grades 11 and 12. I also have previous experience as a Classroom Assistant at GEMS Winchester School.
Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a pharmacist for more than 10 years. This professional background has given me a strong foundation in Biology, Chemistry, and Health Sciences.
I am passionate about making Science easier to understand and helping students feel confident in their abilities. I believe every student can improve with the right guidance, encouragement, and learning approach.
I can explain scientific concepts in both Arabic and English, depending on each student's needs.
My goal is to help students build a strong understanding of Science, improve their academic performance, and develop a genuine interest in learning.

My Science lessons are designed to make learning simple, engaging, and enjoyable for every student.
I use a student-centered approach, focusing on understanding scientific concepts rather than memorizing information. I explain difficult topics using real-life examples, visual aids, interactive activities, and guided questions.
My teaching approach includes:
Assessing the student's current understanding and identifying learning gaps.
Explaining scientific concepts step by step using clear and simple language.
Using pictures, diagrams, videos, and interactive quizzes to make learning more interesting.
Adapting lessons to each student's learning level and pace.
Providing practice questions, exam revision, and constructive feedback to build confidence.
Lesson duration: Typically 60 minutes, with flexibility depending on the student's age and learning needs.
Subjects and levels: Science for primary and middle school students, with particular experience in the UAE National Curriculum.
Languages: Lessons can be delivered in Arabic or English, with additional explanations in either language when needed.
