About Connor
I am a dedicated saxophone tutor with over 9 years of experience teaching college students. I believe that learning music should be enjoyable, structured, and encouraging. My teaching style focuses on helping students understand concepts clearly while developing confidence and creativity in their playing. Lessons are always adjusted to match each student’s level and goals.
I train students in tone quality, breath control, finger technique, rhythm accuracy, and musical expression. Along with technical exercises, I include improvisation and performance practice so students can apply what they learn in real musical situations. I often use real-life music examples to make lessons practical and interesting.
To support faster improvement, I use innovative learning methods such as recording feedback, play-along tracks, and personalized practice routines. I also teach music theory, sight-reading, and ear training to help students grow as complete musicians.
My teaching environment is positive and motivating. Whether you want to perform confidently or simply enjoy playing saxophone, I provide patient guidance and steady support throughout your learning journey.

My teaching approach for Saxophone is structured, creative, and supportive. I focus on teaching strong fundamentals while making learning enjoyable. Lessons cover breathing technique, tone control, finger accuracy, articulation, and rhythm.
Creativity is encouraged through improvisation exercises and sound exploration. I guide students as a mentor, helping them stay motivated and confident. Critical thinking is developed by teaching students how to listen and analyze their playing.
Accountability is maintained through regular feedback, practice planning, and progress tracking. Along with Saxophone, I also teach Music Theory, Sight Reading, Rhythm Training, and Ear Development.
