To anyone who might read this. This is not only my recommendation of Teacher Deirdre but also my testimony. I had the amazing privilege of actually working with Teacher Deirdre while being mentored by her. She was and is a truly amazing mentor. She has a profound understanding of how to mentor and teach a person in not only subjects of school but also in life. I could write countless books on all the lesson and wisdom she has taught me. She made learning fun and always put her heart in everything she taught me. She has a talent for getting to know the person she teaches and in turn starts teaching them a way more suitable to their way of understanding. She was and is one of the best mentors I ever had.

I have worked alongside Deirdre, not only was she a colleague, she then become the HOD of the Intermediate phase, which she ran successfully for several years. She managed her team with diligence and fairness.

She is focused, driven and a very hard worker. She is task oriented, she gets things done and will make sure each person is cared for individually. Her passion for teaching is inspiring. She will teach each person whole heartedly and make sure they reach their goals.

Extremely Professional, honest and punctual. She is dedicated not only to the teaching of children, but the means of which they teach, and always provides to those in her classes the utmost respect and guidance that they need and deserve. Always helpful in providing students and other teachers with information that they need and require, and has to my knowledge always put the students first when it comes to their educational.

Deirdre and I worked together before she left her Council paid job for teaching. We stayed friends ever since.

Deirdre is passionate about teaching. I saw her leaving a well paid job to do home schooling with her children. The commitment, dedication and proof of the end products (her children) are proofs that she is a focused and consistent teacher.

I would entrust any learner into her care and know that she will do her best for that learner or learners. She also did class room teaching and can handle larger groups. She invests a lot of time into her teaching preparation and is always searching for new and more interesting ways to transfer information. She will show up! She is born for teaching.
