About Tabitha
Hi, I'm Tabitha! I'm a qualified primary teacher and Fine Art graduate who loves helping children discover their own creativity and confidence.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art, where I explored a wide range of creative processes, materials and artistic techniques. Alongside this, I recently completed my PGCE, giving me experience teaching children across both KS1 and KS2 and a strong understanding of how to adapt activities for different ages, abilities and learning styles.
I believe art should be about exploration rather than trying to create a "perfect" picture. I love encouraging children to experiment with different materials, colours and techniques, while giving them the freedom to develop their own ideas and creative style.
I'm a warm, patient and encouraging teacher, and I want every child to feel that they can be creative, regardless of their previous experience or confidence. Whether your child already loves art or is simply looking for a fun activity to try, I'll create lessons that are enjoyable, supportive and suited to them.
My aim is to help children develop their artistic skills while, most importantly, giving them a space to experiment, express themselves and have fun.

I offer relaxed and creative art lessons for children, tailored to their age, interests and confidence level. Whether your child loves getting messy with paint, drawing characters, experimenting with colour or simply wants to try something new, lessons can be adapted around them.
I can support with:
* ️ Drawing & sketching – developing observation, line, shape, proportion and confidence with drawing.
* Painting – experimenting with colour, mixing, different techniques and a range of painting styles.
* Colour & creativity – exploring colour theory, composition, patterns and creative ways of expressing ideas.
* ️ Mixed media & crafts – combining different materials and techniques to create exciting, imaginative artwork.
* Art skills & techniques – introducing children to different artists, styles and ways of working.
* Building artistic confidence – encouraging children to experiment, make mistakes and develop their own creative style.
* Themed & project-based lessons – fun projects based around seasons, stories, nature, animals, imagination or your child's own interests.
Most importantly, I want art lessons to feel like a space where children can explore, experiment and have fun. There is no single "right" way to be creative, so I'll encourage your child to develop their own ideas while gently building their artistic skills and confidence along the way.
