I aim to plan my lessons as a more child-centred approach which helps in focusing more on the strengths and needs of the child. My lessons are 1 hour long with 20-30 mins directed teaching and 30 mins independent student work plus plenaries and feedback. I have worked in schools for almost ten years and as a primary teacher for almost two years. My lessons can be tailored for children between the ages of 5 to 8 years with specific lessons targeting both their core and foundation subjects.
