About Lucy
Prior to teacher training, I studied performance at East 15 Acting School (University of Essex) where I was in the pioneering year of the World Performance Course. I developed my writing skills and gained the confidence shortly after to submit play scripts, including a pilot to the BBC. I run a theatre website, and have supported aspiring critics to develop their writing skills and run a blog/website from KS3 to University level. I’ve been an educator for 10 years now, supporting students in maths and English to develop subject knowledge and achieve targets set.

Dependent on need, I can either focus on maths, English or both subjects. I adapt lessons to the learner, ensuring that educational targets are achieved. I’m a private tutor currently, and have helped to ensure students are working towards or within the National Curriculum and to pass their SATs exams.
