About Sarah
Hello! I'm Sarah, a friendly, patient and enthusiastic qualified primary school teacher with 10 years of classroom experience.
I hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have taught across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, giving me a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and how to support children with different learning needs.
I am passionate about helping children develop confidence in their abilities and believe that every child deserves to feel successful in their learning.
My approach is warm, encouraging and supportive. I take time to understand each child's strengths and areas for development, adapting my teaching to ensure lessons are engaging, accessible and appropriately challenging.
I understand that some children may feel nervous about tutoring or lack confidence in certain subjects. I aim to create a relaxed, positive environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and celebrating their achievements.
As a practising classroom teacher, I bring up-to-date curriculum knowledge and practical teaching strategies to every session.

As a qualified primary school teacher with 10 years of classroom experience, I understand that every child learns differently. My aim is to make learning enjoyable, build confidence and help children achieve their potential.
**My teaching approach**
I provide personalised lessons tailored to each child's individual needs, interests and learning style. I use interactive games, colourful resources, practical examples and a variety of engaging activities to make learning fun and accessible.
I believe in creating a positive and supportive environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and celebrating their progress.
**Lesson structure**
My online lessons last 45 minutes and typically include:
* A fun starter activity to revisit previous learning.
* Clear explanations and modelling of new skills.
* Interactive activities and guided practice.
* Opportunities for independent practice.
* A short review to celebrate achievements and identify next steps.
