About Tyler
I’m Tyler, a qualified Primary School Teacher with 10+ years of teaching and school leadership experience.
Throughout my career, I have developed a real passion for helping children succeed in mathematics. I believe every child can make progress when learning is explained clearly, taught at the right level and delivered in an engaging and supportive way.
My aim is not only to improve your child’s mathematical ability, but also to build their confidence, motivation and enjoyment of the subject.
I pride myself on building positive relationships with both children and parents and creating a learning environment where children feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and challenging themselves.
I look forward to helping your child become a more confident and capable mathematician.

My lessons are highly personalised, engaging and tailored to your child’s individual needs. I begin by assessing their current mathematical ability and identifying any barriers affecting their progress or confidence.
I then use personalised teaching methods to overcome these barriers, build confidence and help your child reach their full potential while developing a positive attitude towards mathematics.
I also take time to speak with parents, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their child’s current ability, progress and how they can best support their learning at home.
Lessons typically last one hour and are designed for children aged 7–11 (Years 3–6).
