About Jenna
Hello! My name is Jenna! I am a Primary School teacher from Melbourne, Australia, and currently live in The UK. I love to explore the world, am a big foodie, and have a passion for education!
I have experience working as a primary school teacher in Australia and have also worked with many students in a primary school setting offering targeted teaching for students who require extra support in various areas of the curriculum, but particularly Literacy and Numeracy.
I have many years of experience working with children who find it difficult to maintain focus and attention during lessons. I will provide many engaging and fun activities to help your child stay on track!
I believe that learning is lifelong and encourage my students to always have a go, even if they don't understand the concepts right away. I believe making mistakes is an important part of the learning process and definitely support students through the areas they find challenging, aiding in building their confidence as learners!
I am professional, kind, reliable, hardworking, trustworthy, and humble and definitely like to have a laugh and make learning FUN for everyone!
I hold a current DBS check and police check to ensure your child is in safe hands. I also possess my degree in Primary School teaching from The Australian Catholic University in Melbourne. I will provide you with copies of my identification such as DBS check, police check, degree, passport, and driver's license prior to teaching and meeting your child.

• I will design targeted online or in-person tutoring sessions based on your primary school-aged child's particular needs in Maths or English, within areas they require extra support. This could include spelling, grammar, writing, reading, punctuation, speech and presenting, addition, subtraction, problem-solving and the list goes on.
•I offer supportive, engaging, fun, and creative online or in person lessons that will be student-centered, with a strong focus on setting goals and ongoing assessments to ensure progress is being made.
• The option of 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or 1-hour tutoring sessions multiple times a week, weekly, fortnightly, or monthly or just in school in school holidays. I am very flexible.
• Choose your child's sessions
Weekdays: Any time between 16:00 (4:00pm)-19:00 (7:30pm)
Weekends (Sat & Sun): Can discuss times that will suit you as I am flexible on weekends
School Holidays: Very flexible with days and times
• I am a qualified Primary School Teacher from Australia, currently living in The UK. I have 3 years of experience teaching and tutoring in a primary school classroom setting and over 10 years of experience working with children, teaching swimming and water safety, and childcare.
•Lessons are suited to children from ages 5-11 who require targeted tutoring in Maths or English. Perhaps your child needs some extra support to feel confident in different areas of Maths and English, so I will discuss your child's needs and create a plan, and set goals based on your child's unique needs.
