About Byung-Hwi
Hey! I am Byung Hwi Lee, a classically trained pianist of 10+ years. In my life as a musician, I have had extensive experience as a public performer and have competed in many competitions both as a soloist and in a band. I am also a certified Advanced ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) certificate holder. Despite my absolute love for playing piano and bringing smiles through music, there is an even bigger joy in being able to teach and spread this wonderful skill to my students. What's important about my teaching is that it's enjoyable, positive, and filled with encouragement so that students actively reach their goals and enhance their skills.

As a piano instructor, I highly value the learning results and professionalism of a good lesson all while maintaining positive energy for a student's learning experience. Playing piano is an art form, and like all art forms, takes Skill, Hard-Work and most of all, Patience. `This means that for beginners, learning objectives may include: -basic music theory -scales and chords -finger dexterity -beginner songs/pieces For more experienced players, learning objectives may include: -technicality -musicality -musical creativity and identity -advanced pieces My main goal in teaching you is to develop your technical skills and help find your own unique musical expression and creativity in this enjoyable journey!

11/10. Initially wanted to learn piano for the sole purpose of progressing my ability on FL and Byung just blew me away. He was my introduction into the music world. Now I enjoy playing the piano just for the sake of playing the piano. Scratch that 11, make it a 12/10!
Byung-Hwi is a fabulous teacher for me and my child, who has ASD!! I love him!! I recommend everyone who is interested in piano to give him a shot! You wont be disappointed
