About Valentina
My name is Valentina and I am the Founder, Director and Head Tutor of LA DOLCE VITA-THE ITALIAN ACADEMY, a newborn Italian Academy based in Reading and working in Berkshire and Oxfordshire. My aim is promoting Italian language and culture through the delivery of several services and activities such as Italian classes for children, young learners and adults, travel consultancy, copywriting for business, cross-cultural training and funny Italian language-cooking classes for amateurs.
I am a qualified Italian teacher with a PhD (University of Reading) in Italian.
I have been tutoring for over seven years both in Italy and Uk, both with children and adults from all levels. I know the uniqueness of each student and this is important to me to understand their individual needs. I always try to do my best in my lessons. Because every student is unique I like to use different kinds of material for preparing lessons. I also love integrate the study of the language with cultural background tips wich are very important if you want to use the language for travelling or working.
I really love my tutoring job and really love Italian culture.
