About Jesse
I am experienced as a musician in a band and solo setting, and have been playing shows and competitions in a wide array of settings since 2010. I have been writing and recording songs for over 10 years.
By establishing short-term and long-term goals for my students, I have been able to help them take steps and leaps in their own musical journeys, geared directly towards the skills or destinations they would like to achieve.
I am innately obsessed with music, and my obsession makes it easy for me to jump in and get involved in working with another passionate musician.

Lessons can be 30 minutes to one hour, depending on the student's comfort level. I have taught classroom music within the school setting since 2014 and have given coaching and lessons to soloists and bands on guitar, keyboards (and piano), bass guitar, drums, and singing. I also aim to cater these skills to the individual's musical interests and directly to curriculum areas where appropriate. Songwriting is another one of my strengths, and have found my students independently coming up with their own ideas in their own time following success in my lessons.
I find the most successful approach is to establish goals for a student within a timeframe and help them achieve those goals over the course of a lesson or multiple lessons (depending on the goal or skill).
