About Ruqiya
Hello, I’m Ruqiya, a dedicated and qualified Mathematics educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Science and a Bachelor of Education. With a strong academic background and classroom teaching experience across Grades 1 to 10, I am committed to helping students build a solid understanding of mathematics in a way that is engaging, clear, and effective. My teaching style is warm, patient, and adaptive to each student’s pace and needs. I use proven techniques to simplify complex concepts, encourage critical thinking, and develop problem-solving skills. As a passionate and qualified educator with a B.Sc in Mathematics and a B.Ed, I bring both subject expertise and strong pedagogical skills to every lesson. With experience teaching Grades 1 through 10, I tailor my sessions to suit each student’s learning style and academic needs.
My approach is student-centered and interactive. I believe in building a strong foundation by simplifying complex concepts through real-life examples, visual aids, and continuous assessment. My sessions focus not only on improving grades but also on boosting students’ confidence and love for learning.
Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes, and is structured into three phases: review, core concept teaching, and practice with feedback. I ensure regular revision and problem-solving drills to prepare students thoroughly for exams.
