About Babatunde
My name is Babatunde Rotimi Atunmobi, and I am a passionate Further Mathematics teacher with a deep love for problem-solving, logical thinking, and helping students discover their full potential. With years of experience teaching Mathematics and Further Mathematics at various levels, I have seen how the right guidance can transform a student’s fear of numbers into confidence and excellence. I want to teach Further Mathematics because I believe it is more than just a subject — it is a powerful tool that builds discipline, creativity, and analytical thinking. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps, and I take pride in seeing my students grow, ask questions, and become independent thinkers. Teaching gives me the opportunity to shape minds, challenge abilities, and inspire future engineers, scientists, analysts, and problem-solvers. My goal is not just to help you pass exams, but to help you understand why mathematics works the way it does, and how it connects to real life. My online teaching method is designed to make Mathematics simple, interactive, and easy to understand, regardless of a student’s current level.
I begin by assessing each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and learning style.
This helps me understand exactly where to start and how to tailor the lessons to the student’s needs.
I break down every concept into simple, clear, and manageable steps.
I avoid rushing through topics and always ensure the student truly understands why a method works before moving forward.
I teach using:
Virtual whiteboards
Problem-solving screens
Real-time demonstrations
This allows students to see every working step as if they were sitting right in front of me.
Students actively participate by solving problems during the lesson.
I encourage them to ask questions, think critically, and engage with the material instead of memorizing formulas.
I use diagrams, graphs, animations, and real-life applications to make abstract concepts more relatable and easier to understand.
After each topic, I give:
Practice exercises
Past questions
Short assessments
I review their work, correct mistakes, and give constructive feedback to help them improve quickly.
I adjust my speed and teaching style depending on the student:
Slow learners get patient, repeated explanations
Fast learners get advanced challenges to stretch their skills
I keep track of each student’s weekly improvement and share progress reports with parents or guardians when needed.
