About Nabeelah
As previously mentioned, my love for individuals is what drives my passion for Education and teaching. I enjoy working with students, and I enjoy the fact that I get to learn from my students as well. I am incredibly open to learning new things. I have recently tried sushi and I love it. I have also recently tried playing golf, but it will take me some time to get the hang of it.
I have a 4-year Bachelor's Degree from Rhodes University, and I am also TEFL and COELT certified. I have taught in many different classrooms with many different socio-economic contexts, but at the end of the day, nothing beats one of your students giving you a hug at the classroom door.

My teaching is motivated and driven by my personality and passion for individuals. My teaching style and approach is one that is calm, supportive and interactive. The approaches that I take and bring to my lessons are personalised; I cater to the individual needs of my students. I aim to create a classroom environment where learning is nurtured and where learners feel supported and safe enough to make mistakes knowing that they will be helped without being shamed.
I like using props and fun, 'silly' ways to engage my learners throughout my lessons!
